Don't mind the name, we don't wear suits and we don't even speak Italian. We are two passionate lure anglers dedicated to predator fishing across Wiltshire and beyond. Our main focus is specimen perch, but we relish every single bite on the water. Join us on our travels and celebrate our successes and failures.

I started fishing as a kid, you know, the way we all do. No gear, no idea, just a bucketload of passion. What we lacked in capability, we made up for in enthusiasm. Catching those little perch back then ignited a flame that never truly went out. It dimmed over the years as i dipped in and out of fishing in one form or another. But here I am back with a bang. I picked up my first lure rod back in November 2024. Like any addiction, I craved that time on the bank whenever i could. Two years down the line, I relish my time on the bank just as much now as i ever did. I met Gav through a shared hunger to charm the enigmatic perch onto the bank.
We have travelled far in our bid for PB's and that special fish. We have learned so much in our efforts to unlock the ever-changing code. The next big one is just around the corner; I just know it is.

Well, what to say? My dad introduced me to angling at a very young age, and from there I've just become more obsessed with it. I'm now 45 years young and still just as obsessed; I've fished for everything over the years, but perch is my latest passion, and I'm loving it.
I have turned my hand to just about everything over the years: carp, pike, coarse, squid, bass. You name it, I probably fished for it. I am never happier these days, though, than when I am out chasing stripeys. Taking every opportunity I can, whether that’s after the school run for half an hour or even on the way to the shop for milk. There is nothing better than catching a biggun with your kids on the way to school.
